FIELD: geology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of geology and can be used for searching for gold-ore and gold-bearing deposits. Substance: samples are taken on the examined area according to a predetermined network, including samples from the primary halos of ore objects with determined mineralisation. The samples are subjected to laboratory processing. The content of chemical elements is determined, background and abnormal values of the elements and concentration coefficients (Cc) thereof are calculated. The samples taken from the objects with determined mineralisation are subjected to clustering. The groups obtained as a result of clustering are ranked by the sum of the values of the concentration coefficients (Cc) of all chemical elements. The reference indicator of gold ore-geochemical association is determined for each group with highly abnormal Cc values of gold as the ratio of the sum of the maximum values of the concentration coefficients of indicator chemical elements and the sum of the concentration coefficients of indicator chemical elements with the minimum values. Using the allocated reference gold ore-geochemical association of each reference group, the values of the indicator of each gold ore-geochemical association Kgs(n) are calculated for the samples taken from primary and separately from secondary halos. Based on the obtained values at Kgs ≥ 1.5, Kgs (n) abnormalities are contoured at the corresponding sampling points. Over the examined area, accounting for the geological and geophysical materials, based on the combined or adjacent Kgs(n) abnormalities, sections are allocated, wherein the predicted resources of gold and concomitant elements, both based on primary and secondary halos, the correlation coefficients of gold with indicator elements, and the values of geochemical specialisation indicators are calculated. The potential value of each selected section is determined based on the combination of the calculated parameters.
EFFECT: increase in the accuracy of identification of industrial gold ore and gold-bearing deposits, as a result, increase in the efficiency of exploration.
