FIELD: power supply of electrical engineering circuits with loads disturbing current and voltage. SUBSTANCE: technical result of invention consists in total compensation of inactive components of power with non-sinusoidal current of users. According to process momentary values of current of user and momentary values of voltage of supply line are measured, their derivatives are determined as well as active power of user and active value of voltage of supply line. Then values of products of inductance of reactor and derivative of supply line voltage which was multiplied in advance by quotient of division of active power of user by square of valid voltage of supply line and by derivative of current of user are computed. Difference of obtained values is found and momentary value of supply line voltage is added to result. Voltage determined in this manner is applied to reactor connected to supply line which leads to generation of required compensation current to supply line. EFFECT: increased efficiency of transmission and consumption of electric power. 1 dwg
