FIELD: materials handling facilities; belt conveyor for transportation of lump loads. SUBSTANCE: conveyor has endless belt closed in vertical plane and forming upper carrying run and lower return run with brackets secured on belt edges on which running rolls are installed for engagement with tubular guides, and also frame. Cylindrical rollers are installed for rotation on fixed axles and arranged symmetrically at equal pitch along longitudinal axis of conveyor between carrying run and return run of belt for engagement with runs. Cylindrical rollers are interconnected by means of flexible members arranged at two sides. Free ends of flexible members in upper and lower parts of conveyor are connected with conveyor frame by braces. EFFECT: provision of catching of both runs of conveyor belt in case of their breakage. 4 dwg
