FIELD: drilling equipment. SUBSTANCE: given deflecting tool is designed to change drilling direction when hole is drilled by face motor. Deflecting tool for directional drilling of holes includes knock-down body, cylinder housing piston with hollow rod carrying straight and helical splines, return spring of piston, sealed space filled with oil, rotary spindle kinematically coupled to helical splines on hollow rod of piston. Rotary stirrup coming in the from of rotor with internal ring of helical splines and latches of rotary stirrup mounted for interaction with ratchet ring on rotary spindle and identical immobile stirrup without splines are used to realize kinematic coupling of rotary spindle with helical splines on hollow rod of piston. Latches on stirrup are made for interaction with same ratchet ring on rotary spindle. The latter is coupled to angular adapter employed for deflection of deflecting tool. EFFECT: expanded technological capabilities and prolonged service life of deflecting tool with small diameter. 3 dwg
