SUPPLY SYSTEM OF INTERNAL COMBUSTION GAS ENGINE Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: mechanical engineering; liquefied petroleum gas supply systems of internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: system has gas bottle with filler-disperser and check-and-safety devices and gas level remote gauge pickup with permanent magnet whose position depends on position of float mechanism, level indicator receiver, carburetor, gas mixing device, regulator-evaporator, gas and gasoline valves, fuel selector and brought-out filler neck. Gas mixing device has diffuser with metering holes located in critical section. Diffuser is placed in housing to form spaces communicating through inlet channel with regulator-evaporator. Gas bottle device are made for turning around axle at engagement with magnet of pickup and have rigidly intercoupled second permanent magnet and nontransparent plate provided with several cutouts - openings or light reflecting strips forming a code mask and optrons installed stationary in number corresponding to number of groups of cutouts - openings or light reflecting strips. Cutouts-openings, light reflecting strips and optrons are arranged on concentric arcs whose center coincides with plate turning axis. Receiver of remote level gauge is provided with decoder and light-emitting diodes connected to decoder outputs, inputs of decoder being connected with outputs of optrons.
