FIELD: armament equipment, concerns sporting cartridges with plastic cartridge cases. SUBSTANCE: plastic cartridge case in the form a thin-walled sleeve with an outer cylinder-shaped wall and an inner wall made in the form of three tapered sections, whose extent and taper increase from the sleeve bottom having a hole for the primer cap, is additionally provided with a thin-walled crosspiece separating the sleeve cavity and the cavity for installation of the primer cap. The thickness of the crosspiece-diaphragm is selected within 0.2 to 0.5 mm. The device for manufacture of the plastic cartridge case has a mould that is made of a die forming the outer surface of the cartridge case, half-die with a tapered filling hole forming the sleeve bottom, and a punch forming the inner surface of the cartridge case, a hollow cylindrical pin is made on the half-die, it forms the blind primer cap hole and the annular casting nozzle with the punch.
