FIELD: testing equipment. SUBSTANCE: specimen testing gear can be employed to conduct mechanical tests, cyclic strength tests of specimens of rectangular section including specimens preliminary irradiated in atomic reactor, in particular. Specimen testing gear has specimen fixing unit, load creating mechanism, transmitters measuring parameters of process, control and adjustment unit, heater, calibrated dynamometer with force-measuring members. Specimen is fixed with one end in specimen fixing unit which is attached to calibrated dynamometer that has two force-measuring members. Unit fixing specimen to dynamometer is anchored between attachments of force-measuring members. Specimen is loaded by load creating mechanism which sets heater in oscillatory motion in bearings relatively to attachment axis with specified amplitude and rests installed in heater body act directly by force of load on lower end of specimen. Test parameters are specified by control and adjustment unit and is registered by transmitters. EFFECT: expanded application field of gear used, in particular, to test irradiated specimens of rectangular section supported as cantilever under conditions of lateral flexure for fatigue, low-cycle fatigue, stress relaxation and to raise authenticity of tests. 1 cl, 1 dwg
