FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has body and rod composed of detachable parts connected to each other. The body has additional handle having additional support member made on the curved portion of its length. The rod has flexible middle part. It is arranged inside of the garland of rings that is placed inside of the curved body portion in its turn. The curved body portion is orientable in various positions with respect to the handles. EFFECT: avoided events of cutting through the tissues; atraumatic conduction of the device through the rectum; enhanced effectiveness in putting-in purse-string sutures; improved aseptic conditions of surgical interventions. 6 cl, 18 dwg
