FIELD: technology of production of polymer sorbent for environment control; localization and utilization of oil, petroleum products and liquid organic agents from contaminated areas of water surface and solid. SUBSTANCE: proposed method consists in injecting metered amount of homogeneous solution of carbamide resin at addition of 3 to 6% of finely-dispersed carbon of alkaline-earth metal at size of particles not exceeding 0/5 mm into foamed solution of inorganic acid with surfactant which was preliminarily heated to 40-50 C; this done, polymer mass is poured into mold.
