FIELD: generation of oscillations of subsonic, sonic and supersonic frequency, possibly in acoustic system for exciting acoustic oscillations and in different manufacturing plants and apparatuses for exciting mechanical oscillations on large-area surfaces. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes dielectric plate placed between electric current conductive sheet covers connected with direct electric current source and with electric signal generator. Dielectric plate is made of amorphous dielectric material with dipole structure. Electric current conductive plates are connected with direct electric current source and electric signal generator with possibility of creating in dielectric plate modulated electric field related with dipole structure by electrostriction.
