FIELD: ozone generation for disinfecting drinking water, purifying sewage of industrial plants, towns and so on. SUBSTANCE: ozone generator includes water cooled high-voltage and ground tubular electrodes; tubes of dielectric material insulating high-voltage electrode; insulators; unions for supplying and discharging working gas and cooling water; device for spacing electrodes. Each electrode is covered (at process of electrostatic deposition) with vitro-enamel layer whose thickness is equal to (0.3-0.5) mm. Main gap between electrodes is equal to thickness value of said layer. EFFECT: increased yield of ozone for unit of active surface of electrode, minimized energy consumption. 4 cl, 1 dwg
