FIELD: medicine; agriculture; generation of ozone to produce decontaminated and purified portable water.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is dealt with devices for generation of ozone and may be used in medicine, industry branches, agriculture and other branches of economy for decontamination of potable water, purification of sewage and air in premises. The device for generation of ozone contains: located in a hermetic body high-voltage electrodes and grounded electrodes coated outside with a dielectric and alternating one after another; the connecting pipes for feeding a working oxygen-containing gas and a heat-transfer agent; the connecting pipes for withdrawal of the heat-transfer agent and gas-ozone mixture. The electrodes have a possibility of refrigeration by a heat-transfer agent are made from the ring-shaped crimped plates hermetically linked to each other on edges and are spaced equally from each other forming an inner cavity, in which there are jumper straps mounted perpendicularly to the internal surfaces of the plates. The jumper straps are ring-shaped with multiple bores and a slot, the area of which is equal to the area of the cross-section of the connecting pipe for feeding a heat-transfer agent to the electrodes. The jumper straps are rigidly fixed along the whole length of circumference of each crimp between apexes and pits of the upper and the lower plates of electrodes rigidly binding the plates of electrodes among themselves. The area of a total cross-section of bores in the jumper straps is made significantly less than the area of cross-section of the channel formed between two adjacent jumper straps in a tangential direction. Passing in an electrode a part of a connection pipe for feeding heat-transfer agent is made in the form repeating a form of the cross-section of crimps of the electrode and is positioned radially with its end placed at an inner edge of the electrode. The invention allows to increase the service life of the device, its productivity and to decrease its materials consumption and dimensions.
