FIELD: manufacture of light strength building materials without reinforcement by steel bars. SUBSTANCE: material made from hardened calcium silicate at Ib/Ia ratio exceeding 3 and specific gravity of 0.2 or more but not above 0.7 contains practically no bubbles whose maximum diameter exceeds 200 mkm, where Ib is peak of intensity of diffracted radiation for tobermorite plane (220) at study by method of power X-ray diffractometry and Ia is minimum intensity of diffracted radiation at angular section located between two peaks of diffracted radiation for tobermorite planes (220) and (222). The above-mentioned method includes mixing suspension of primary material obtained through mixing silicate material, line material and water as main component at temperature of 40 C and higher in such way that CaO/SiO2 ratio should range from 1.2 to 2.5 and secondary material which contains at least one material from silicate material and lime material or at least one material from silicate material and lime material with water as main component in order to obtain CaO/SiO2 ratio after mixing from 0.6 to 1.5; ratio of weight of water to total weight of solid material from 1.0 to 5.0 and content of amorphous silicate material in silicate materials - less than 20 wt-%; preliminary hardening of pulp thus obtained at temperature of 40 C or higher and hardening in autoclave at temperature of 160 C or higher.
