FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a GIS-type zeolite, an adsorbent material containing a GIS type zeolite, and a method for separating one or several components. The GIS-type zeolite for adsorbent materials has a diffraction peak (101) at a diffraction angle of 2θ from 12.55 to 12.90° in the spectrum obtained by X-ray diffraction. The method for separating one or several components selected from the group consisting of CO2, H2O, He, Ne, Cl2, NH3 and HCl includes separating one or several components selected from the group consisting of CO2, H2O, He, Ne, Cl2, NH3 and HCl, from a mixture containing two or more gases selected from the group consisting of H2, N2, CO and hydrocarbon, by means of using an adsorbent material.
EFFECT: provided is GIS-type zeolite capable of sufficiently adsorbing carbon dioxide and also exhibiting a high selectivity for adsorption of carbon dioxide compared to the value of methane adsorption.
