FIELD: organic chemistry, chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of synthesis of vinyl chloride. Method is realized by pyrolysis of C2-hydrocarbons to yield an equimolar mixture of acetylene and ethylene. Mixture is hydrochlorinated and synthesized vinyl chloride is separated. The remained mixture is chlorinated to 1,2-dichloroethane that is subjected for pyrolysis and vinyl chloride and hydrogen chloride are obtained. Hydrogen chloride is recyclized to the stage of hydrochlorination of acetylene. To use the product of oxidative combination of methane or methane-containing gas as the parent raw is preferable. EFFECT: increased output, decreased energy consumption. 3 cl, 2 tbl, 5 ex
