FIELD: civil engineering, in particular, construction of mansard dormer windows. SUBSTANCE: the mansard dormer windows. The mansard dormer window has a frame and an opening leaf that holds the window-glass. The upper, lower and side members of the frame and leaf are mostly made of wooden profiles that on the sides facing outside are closed with facing members of atmosphere-insulating materials connected to the wooden profiles by engagement and fastening members. The facing members are used as closing members of the isolating enclosure for the underlying wooden profiles in the frame and leaf on all the surfaces outside the roof covering. The closing member above is held by the upper cover, and below it is provided with a bent invisible made integral means of engagement for the quick- acting engagement with the engagement means. EFFECT: facilitated procedure of windows mounting, provided complete enclosure of the window wooden parts. 14 cl, 6 dwg
