FIELD: fishing engineering. SUBSTANCE: carrier has hull accommodating narrow-beam acoustic transducer and power supply in the form of hydraulic-turbine-driven generator. Acoustic radiator produces fish-screening acoustic field by rotating the carrier. Fore part of proposed carrier is made in the form of water-tight screening rack shaped as spherical cylinder; narrow-beam acoustic transducer is installed in fore part at certain angle to longitudinal axis of hull. Acoustically nontransparent screen is installed perpendicular to transducer axis inside screening rack. Generator and hydraulic turbine are mounted in middle part of hull; aft part mounts buoyant block filled with light-weight filler such as spheroplast. Hydraulic-turbine stabilizers mount control members such as rudders. EFFECT: enhanced performance characteristics of carrier and its fish-screening field; reduced mass and size of carrier. 1 dwg
