FIELD: drifting devices. SUBSTANCE: proposed drifting device has cylindrical housing with radio electronic units arranged inside it and antenna unit which is closed with nose fairing in initial position. Housing is made in form of two cylindrical envelopes fitted one on other. Inner envelope is load-bearing one; outer envelope is split longitudinally into four equal parts whose aft ends are articulated to load-bearing envelope and fore ends are locked in initial position by cylindrical bead of fore fairing. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of antenna unit at high swell due to reduced amplitude of angular rolling. 2 dwg
