FIELD: prosthetic dentistry. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has casing and tightening device. Casing is made in the form of U-shaped clip or sleeve confining supporting member, inside which tightening device is located. Tightening device has rigid coiled spring for receiving rod with threaded part on one end and handle on other end. Rod is positioned for displacement in supporting member end opening. Spring is attached with its one end to supporting member end and with its other end to nut screwed on rod threaded part. Retainer for flexible member is fixed at rod end under nut equipped with indicator. Scale is formed on supporting member side surface. Flexible member retainer may be made in the form of Y-shaped slot cut in rod or hook-shaped. Apparatus is used for manufacture of adhesive bridge-shaped dental prosthesis and multiple-link composite splints for splintage of movable teeth.
