FIELD: automotive industry. SUBSTANCE: mechanical interlock has coupling 13 rigidly secured on tie-rod 14 of gearshift lever with possibility of locking of pin 7 in tie-rod. Working part of locking pin 7 is made in form of hollow cylinder with longitudinal flat 8 which accommodates cylindrical insert made of hard-alloy material installed for free turning around its axis inside locking pin 7. Rectangular groove square to longitudinal flat 8 is made in part of pin mated with stop. Guard casing 2-to-bracket 1 fastening is made non-detachable. Thanks to it mechanical interlock is breakproof and it prevents unauthorized access to vehicle controls. EFFECT: improved reliability of mechanical interlock. 4 dwg
