FIELD: transport engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in lock-type antitheft devices for vehicles with steering gear. Proposed device contains lock pin consisting of hollow working part with flat base and end face part accommodating lock mechanism with secrete pin device mechanically coupled with first and second stops arranged inside working part of lock pin and furnished with return springs to provide reciprocation of square to side surfaces of lock pin working part. Device contains third stop installed for reciprocation square to flat base of working part of lock pi and coupling rigidly fixed on steering gear shaft by means of fixing hole. Coupling is made split consisting of interconnected lower cover and upper cover with grooves for working part of lock pin. First and second coaxial cavities for first and second stop, respectively, are made in side parts of coupling from inner side, and holes for screws for connecting with lower cover and cavity for third stop are made in base of upper part. Limiting beads are made in upper cover on one of ends of base in its upper part, and in each side part of upper cover from inner side. Steps are made on flat base and side surfaces of working part of lock pin mating in fixed state of antitheft device with corresponding limiting beads.
EFFECT: improved operation reliability.
