FIELD: polymer production. SUBSTANCE: antistatic polyurethane appropriate, in particular, for facing shafts, rolls, and couplings in textile and papermaking machines is prepared by interaction of iron or cuprous bromides or chlorides in solvent with 2,4- toluenediisocyanate followed by hardening on heating by means of hardening agent, in particular mixture of oligoetherdiol-glycerol or oligoetherdiol- oligoisocyanurate ester 99-96% and glycerol or oligoisocyanurate 1-4%. EFFECT: increased hydrolytic stability due to elevated content of gel and improved quality of protective coatings. 1 tbl, 16 ex
