FIELD: pipeline fittings, namely reliable closing of main lines and gradually controlling flowrates of liquids and gases. SUBSTANCE: high pressure valve includes housing with inlet and outlet unions. Spindle is joined with pusher having wedge-like working surface. Locking ball-type member engages with working surfaces of pusher of inlet union. Spindle is joined with flywheel. Valve is provided with spring-loaded casing mounted with possibility of motion along axis of inlet union. In casing there are ducts for working fluid. Ball-like locking member is movably mounted inside casing. Housing has in lower portion opening communicated with atmosphere. EFFECT: lowered effort applied to flywheel, improved gradual control of flowrate. 1 dwg
