FIELD: shutting-off mains at increased pressure and smooth control of flow rate. SUBSTANCE: valve includes body with inlet and outlet pipe unions, stem connected with pusher, two spherical shut-off members and hand-wheel. Pusher is provided with transversal passage for flowing of working medium. Spherical shut-off members are engageable with working surfaces of pusher. Pusher is made in form of cylinder with inclined longitudinal slots. These slots are engageable with outer surfaces of pipe unions by their lateral surfaces. Axes of pipe unions are located at right angle relative to working surfaces of pusher. Working surfaces of pusher are located on inclined surfaces of slots. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of shutting-off the mains at increased pressure and smooth control of flow rate. 3 dwg
