FIELD: electric drive systems for vehicles of all kinds. SUBSTANCE: system has at least one valve-type drive motor with permanent magnets on rotor. Multiphase stator winding of motor with minimum nine phases is divided into independent circuits, three phases per circuit. Power system of stator windings incorporates for each circuit DC voltage converter and separate current inverter with three-winding smoothing reactor. Magnetic core of the latter is built up of three separate magnetic circuits closed through air gaps. Intermediate magnetic circuit is enclosed by power winding and differentially connected auxiliary windings. One extreme magnetic circuit is enclosed by power winding only and other extreme one, by cumulatively connected auxiliary windings. Reactor coils are inserted in different circuits. Turn number of auxiliary windings is twice as small as that of power winding. EFFECT: reduced ripple currents in multicircuit electric drive system. 3 dwg
