FIELD: medical equipment. SUBSTANCE: massaging apparatus 1 has operating head connected to suction channel. Operating head has casing comprising internal chamber 3 into which suction channel is opened and inside which dermal fold 10 formed by suction effect after applying of apparatus to patient's body rests immediately on convex lower edges of said chamber. Chamber 3 open at its bottom part has window defined by two side walls 4 and two transverse walls 6,7. Dermal fold 10 formed by suction effect rests upon edges 7,8 of transverse walls. Said edges have convex surfaces with oppositely oriented convexity. Active surfaces defined by lower edges 8,9 of transverse walls may be moved for changing distance between two predetermined positions. Apparatus may be used for massaging of people as well as of animals. EFFECT: wider operational capabilities and improved therapeutic action by applying equally effective force in two directions, namely, pressure force and stretching force. 4 cl, 7 dwg
