SUBSTANCE: portion capsule is intended for usage in a coffee maker. The capsule has capsule walls that surround a closed cavity filled with an extractible material Ensuring the possibility of the capsule walls piercing with the perforation elements of an injector or dispensing unit as a result of the coffee maker brewing chamber closure for introduction of extraction liquid under pressure and for output of the extraction product having resulted from the process of brewing inside the capsule. During the brewing process the capsule is under excessive pressure. The capsule is shaped as a cube or rectangular parallelepiped except for the end edges projecting in the axial direction by no more than 1.5 mm.

EFFECT: invention enables the possibility of extractable material compression immediately in the capsule, the capsule piercing for introduction of liquid simultaneously from two lateral sides and space-efficient stacking.
