FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment and can be used for mobilisation of skin tissue and for massage. The massage head comprises a body with two active elements released from the lower surface thereof, containing a free lower edge opposite to the body and intended to come into contact with the skin of the patient. At least one of said active elements is formed due to a flap hingedly fixed in the body and configured to rotate to bring the free lower edges of said active elements close or separate in the direction of movement. The relative movement of said at least one flap relative to the body is provided by means of a rotating cam formed in the body. The axis of rotation of the cam is oriented parallel to the direction of movement of said at least one flap. The cam comprises at least one working surface of the cam formed on the periphery thereof. At least one flap is mounted on the carrier structure, one of the ends whereof is hingedly fixed in the body. The carrier structure is equipped with an element configured to interact with the working surface of the cam. The massage apparatus wherein the massage head is used comprises an electric power source configured to power an electric engine independently driving a reducer gearbox, or to power an engine providing rotation of the cam.
EFFECT: simple and effective implementation of massage procedures both for humans and animals.
