FIELD: freight carriage by road, rail and other vehicles. SUBSTANCE: invention is used for identification of vehicles. Proposed automated system has at least one code vehicle-carried transmitter mounted on each vehicle unit and at least two electronic marks on each locking-and-sealing device of each vehicle and device for reading information by radio channel. Reading device has first receive-transmit antenna for reading information from code vehicle-carried transmitter at first frequency, second and third receive-transmit antennas for reading information from electronic marks at second frequency. Second receive-transmit antenna is made for shaping and taking signals with horizontal plane of polarization, and third one, with vertical plane of polarization for reading information from first and second electronic marks respectively made with possibility of receiving and transmitting signals with horizontal and vertical planes of polarization, respectively.
