SEWAGE PURIFYING APPARATUS Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: electrochemical purification equipment. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has electric coagulator with electrode system, clarifier connected to filter, pipeline for supplying sewage into electric coagulator, and pipeline for discharging clean water from filter. Apparatus is further provided with distributing- turbulizing nozzle head. Lower part of nozzle head is below water level in electric coagulator above electrode system and upper part of nozzle head is connected to pipeline for supplying sewage to electric coagulator. Water inlet is adapted for directing water under treatment process to clarifier arranged under electrode system of electric coagulator. Distributing-turbulizing nozzle head may be made in the form of vessel with outlet in the bottom leading into electric coagulator and with T-shaped branch pipe in top part. T-shaped branch pipe has bent ends oriented in opposite directions and arranged in horizontal plane. Apparatus may be further equipped with two tanks, one of tanks being connected to electric coagulator under electrode system and other tank being connected with electric coagulator above electrode system and being equipped with drain pipe. Apparatus may be used for removal of different contaminants, such as suspended substances, petroleum products, heavy metals, organic compounds, from sewage water of industrial, transportation and service enterprises. EFFECT: increased efficiency by eliminating settling of sediments on electrodes and allowing electrodes to be depassivated. 3 cl, 4 dwg
