FIELD: electrochemical method for application of coatings on aluminum and aluminum alloys, widely used as structural materials, in adhesive joints and metal-polymeric materials. SUBSTANCE: the method consists in a double-stage anode oxidation of the part in a solution containing phosphoric acid, sulfuric acid and sodium tetraborate, the double-stage anode oxidation is carried out continuously, prior to the anode oxidation, a homogenizing treatment is performed, and after the anode oxidation a densification of the coating is carried out with a simultaneous painting. EFFECT: enhanced and stable adhesive strength and fatigue characteristics, satisfactory corrosion resistance in all climatic conditions, provided visual inspection of the coating, metallurgical in-process defects. 5 cl, 3 tbl
