SAFETY LOCK FOR DOOR OF DWELLING HOUSES AND APARTMENTS Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: safety of living quarters. SUBSTANCE: proposed safety lock can be installed in doors of dwelling houses and apartments. It enables relatively small covering plate on door to be employed due to reduced dimension of auxiliary frame along direction of plate displacement. Lock bolt includes plate carrying rack that is engaged by key to displace bolt. Package of safety plates of lock and springy aid of return coupled to them are mounted on auxiliary frame attached to body of lock with ability of detachment. Plate of bolt carries means for its attachment to and detachment from bolt which comes in the form of step-up gear. Step-up gear is lever joined with one end to auxiliary frame for turning and with opposite end to bolt which can be disconnected. Middle zone of level in working position is linked to plate of bolt.
