FIELD: oil producing industry, mainly, development of deposits of paraffin crude oils with use of chemical reagents for removal and prevention of resinous-paraffin accumulations. SUBSTANCE: method includes treatment of said oil and reagent with electromagnetic field; measurement of dielectric characteristics of crude oil within frequency range of 107-109 Hz under temperature and pressure of given deposit; determination of frequencies fmo, fmr, corresponding to maximum values of loss-angle tangent for oil and reagent, and frequencies f1o, f2o, f1r, f2r from the following expression 
 where tgδo is loss-angle tangent for oil; tgδmo is maximum loss-angle tangent for oil; tgδr is loss-angle tangent for reagent; tgδmr is maximum loss-angle tangent for reagent; f1o, f2o are frequencies of electromagnetic field at which tgδo= 0,7tgδmo; f1r, f2r are frequencies of electromagnetic field at which tgδr= 0,7tgδmr. Then potentially efficient reagents are selected on the assumption that at least one of frequencies fmr, f1r and f2r is found within interval f2o-f1o. Temperature range within which dielectric characteristics are measured, shall include temperature of beginning of paraffin crystallization in said oil and which is different for various oils. EFFECT: higher accuracy of selection of potentially efficient reagents for removal and prevention of resinous-paraffin accumulations at said oil field with due consideration of oil properties and oil pool physico-geological conditions. 3 dwg, 3 ex
