SELECTION METHOD OF SCALING EFFECTIVE INHIBITORS Russian patent published in 2008 - IPC E21B37/06

Abstract RU 2327029 C1

FIELD: oil industry.

SUBSTANCE: one prepares model mixture imitating bring water, puts it into double electrode electrochemical cell with constructional material sample as operating drive, imitating downhole equipment detail, auxiliary electrode is made of inactive metal. Cell is termostated at the temperature of 20-80°C. Then one exposes mixture electromagnetic field with different frequencies, measures cells during reactive C and active R components of electrochemical impedanceand defines optimal frequency for current model of mixture when values of impedance components are changed in time no less than 3 times in comparison with initial. Then at optimal frequency one takes measurements in time of impedance components for mixture with input inhibitor, determines correlation of reactive and active components, draws graphical correspondence of stated correlation from time of electromagnetic field exposure with optimal frequency for mixture with inhibitor and without it. According to it one defines exposure time, corresponding to maximal correlation value C/R, finds out difference between stated exposure time for mixture with inhibitor and without it, and with its help one evaluates effectiveness of inhibitors. The higher stated difference the more effective is inhibitor.

EFFECT: reliability, accuracy and universality are provided.
