FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: proposed system has radiator with filler and drain tanks, bypass channel, hot and cold cooling liquid circulation circuits, electronic temperature control unit, oil heater located in sump, catalyst heater and cooling liquid heating device located in bypass channel housing. Bypass channel is made in form of base member secured on drain and filler tanks of radiator and is furnished with check valve mounted from side of filler tank. Swinging shutter with electric drive which controls liquid flows is installed in outlet branch pipe area inside bypass channel housing for turning. Electric drive is made in form of electric motor with potentiometer mounted on its shaft from one side and with drive gear mounted on its other end. Drive gear is in constant meshing with gear sector of switching shutter. EFFECT: improved efficiency of engine heating at simplified design of system. 5 cl, 4 dwg
