FIELD: heating appliances for various fields of industry and agriculture. SUBSTANCE: gas burner designed as heating and drying appliance for personnel and also for heating industrial and farming locations has heating unit incorporating ceramic radiator with perforations communicating with gas-air mixture combustion pits on shell side whose flow section is lower than critical value with respect to flashback. Radiator is installed on gas-air mixture producing device incorporating injection-type contraction-diffuser mixer and automatic-control unit enclosed by panel with hole and shutter. Gas injector is mounted under mixer. Annular tubular igniter is placed between radiator and shell at diffuser level. Flame monitoring transducer and deflector are installed above igniter nozzle. EFFECT: enhanced potential of heat radiated into surrounding atmosphere; improved environmental friendliness. 20 cl, 7 dwg
