FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power engineering and can be used in infrared burners for combined generation of heat and electric energy in various production facilities. Infrared burner-electric generator comprises housing, reflector of infrared radiation, injector consisting of gas nozzle and mixer, reflector with a shelf, emitting a ceramic nozzle and a mesh, a cavity between which forms a combustion chamber, an automation unit, wherein the side walls of the reflector below the mesh level are corrugated to form inwardly directed longitudinal grooves, in which are inserted thermoelectric sections, consisting of rows of thermoelectric elements, which are paired parallel wire segments made of different metals M1 and M2, arranged in layer of dielectric material and connected at opposite ends of each other with junctions, wherein parts of thermoelectric sections located in reflector grooves are washed through walls of slots by infrared radiation and smoke gases, and parts of thermoelectric sections with opposite junctions are washed with room air, thermoelectric sections of the lateral sides of the reflector form thermoelectric units, the extreme thermoelectric elements of which are connected by block jumpers to single-pole collectors of similar charges, which in turn are connected to the converter and electric accumulator.
EFFECT: invention allows increasing burner economic efficiency.
