FIELD: medical equipment. SUBSTANCE: bed has patient retaining attachments, legs, backs, base and movable contoured device equipped with drive. Base has immovable outer contoured device mounted on legs. Movable contoured device is attached by means of mobile units to immovable contoured device. Movable contoured inner device secured through mobile units to movable contoured device is adapted for lifting patient to vertical position. Movable contoured inner device has bed, backs and rotary drive. Each drive has worm mechanism and arm. Patient retaining attachments are formed as straps. Bed of such construction provides for changing of patient's body position relative to longitudinal and transverse axes and eliminates problems connected with prolonged keeping of patient in lying position in bed. EFFECT: simplified construction, wider operational capabilities and increased efficiency. 4 dwg
