FIELD: separation of suspended particles from gas flows. SUBSTANCE: vortex deduster has housing with branch pipes for introduction of secondary dust-laden flow of gas which are mounted tangentially, swirler for introduction of primary dust-laden flow of gas. Cleaned gas escape branch pipe located coaxially relative to housing, baffle washer and dust collecting chamber. Additional separating chamber for secondary separation of dust not entrapped in main separating chamber is located on upper cover of housing. Located in peripheral zone of upper cover of housing is bypass hole for evacuation of dust from upper portion of main separating chamber to additional separating chamber and then to inlet branch pipe of housing via recirculating pipe line. Circular clearance provided between outlet branch pipes of main and additional separating chambers is used for removal of dust not entrapped in chamber into chamber. Upper butt of tangential inlet branch pipe is located at distance of 0.0 to 1.0D from upper cover, where D is diameter of housing. Inlet branch pipe is "narrow", its width does not exceed height of separating chamber or it is lesser by amount of space from upper cover. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of dust separation. 8 cl, 2 dwg
