FIELD: metal working, namely, working flat surfaces by means of cutting tool with polyhedral cutting tips. SUBSTANCE: tool includes body, rotary sectors having along outer diameter protrusions with cross section corresponding to that of body groove profile; cutting tips mounted on sectors; joining members and elastic members. In order to enhance working accuracy, tool is provided with tips having stepped holes and rigidly joined by their lateral surfaces with rotary sectors and it is also provided with sleeves made of material with high linear expansion coefficient. Protrusions of rotary sectors have T-shaped cross section; body has stepped cylindrical cavities for arranging above mentioned tips spring-loaded in axial direction relative to members joining them with respective sleeves.
