FIELD: nuclear engineering. SUBSTANCE: vacuum chamber accommodates charged-particle source, charged-particle detector, and charged- particle separator. The latter is formed by two pairs of plate members, each pair functioning as capacitor. Both pairs of plate members bent in cross-section over lengths of peripheral generating lines of concentric hollow cylinders and in longitudinal section, over arcs of circular orbits of low-energy charged particles are intersecting so that their electric fields occur in intersecting directions to form integrated electric field that functions as barrier for charged particles. Charge-particle source has ionization chamber and extrusion-field generating electrodes. Plate members are cut from coaxial thin-walled tubes bent in longitudinal section, inner one being bent in longitudinal section over arc of circular orbit of low-energy charged particles. EFFECT: enhanced selectivity, reduced material input of device. 3 dwg
