FIELD: organic chemistry, chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to novel derivatives of 1-methyl-5-chloropyrazole of the general formula (I) where R means CH2Cl,CF3,4-ClC6H4,3-NO2C6H4 that show an antibacterial activity. Also, invention proposes a method of synthesis of derivatives of 1-methyl-5-chloro- -pyrazole where R means by interaction of corresponding derivatives of 2,2-dichlorodivinyl ketone of the formula RC(O)CH=CCl2 where R has said values with dimethylhydrazine in their mole ratio = 1:2, respectively, in an organic solvent medium at the room temperature for 0.5-12 h. Derivatives of 1-methyl-5-chloropyrazole, among them and novel compounds, are synthesized for a single stage from available raw that are perspective biologically active substances and technically value products that can be used for development of medicinal preparations, dyes, insecticides.
