METHOD OF PREPARATION OF COAL CHARGE FOR COKING Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: production of coke; by-product coke industry. SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes crushing, metering, mixing coals, introducing wastes of by-product coke process which are applied on rubber crumb of rubberized articles and additive thus obtained is introduced in charge in place of some coals at coals of gas-fat and -fat ranks to coals of -coke, lean-sintered and coke weak-sintered ranks to additives equal to (0.28-0.20):(0.70-0.74): (0.02-0.06). Rubber crumb of rubberized articles may be modified by treatment with wastes of by-product coke process and may be mixed with coke dust of coke dry quenching plant at ratio of 1:1:3 to 3:1:1, after which it is introduced in charge as additive. EFFECT: increased yield and improved quality of coke; enhanced mechanical strength of coke; extended raw material resources base; utilization of industrial carbon-containing viscous-flow coking wastes. 2 cl, 3 dwg
