METHOD OF UTILIZATION OF INDUSTRIAL AND HOUSEHOLD SOLID WASTES Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: coke-chemical industry; thermochemical processing of industrial and household solid wastes. SUBSTANCE: the invention presents a method of utilization of industrial and household organic and solid wastes. The invention is dealt with the field of thermochemical processing of industrial organic and household solid wastes and may be used in a coke-chemical industry. The method includes sorting, comminution, pressure molding, pyrolysis of the solid household wastes. After the pressure molding the solid household wastes are mixed with viscous-flow waste products of the coke-chemical production in the ratio of 1:1. The produced mixture is fed into a coal charge in the amount of 0.8-1.0 % of the mass of the charge. Pyrolysis is conducted by a carbonization of the charge at production of the metallurgical coke. The method allows to improve ecology at the expense of complex utilization of the solid domestic wastes and viscous-flow waste products of the coke-chemical production and to produce the high-quality metallurgical coke and chemical products with the low costs of manufacture.
