FIELD: rubber industry. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemical processing of organic waste, in particular to reuse of worn-out mechanical rubber articles, and cam be utilized in metallurgy. Articles are ground to fineness 3-0 mm customary for coal charge components. Ground crumb is added to coal charge for cocking without removing metal cord in amount up to 4% on the weight of charge, in which content of ashes should be no more than 10%. EFFECT: simplified processing procedure and increased yield of metallurgy coke and chemical cocking products. 3 tbl
