Protease as a crude product is subjected for preliminary purification by affinity chromatography method or chromatography on basic ion-exchange resins. Obtained fraction comprising thrombin-like protease is subjected for chromatography on weak cation-exchange resins or separated by adsorption on glass in basic range. The main component is subjected for gel-chromatography or purified using chromatography on glass in acid range being at least one of stages involves separation by chromatography on glass.
