FIELD: hydrometallurgy. SUBSTANCE: process involves precipitation of tungstic acid remaining molybdenum in solution by way of adding hydrogen peroxide and hydrochloric acid to pH=0. Precipitation is performed from solutions containing 30 to 130 g/cu.dm tungsten and 0.3 to 5.0 g/cu.dm molybdenum in presence of salicylic acid. Invention can be applied for treating waste waters.
