SUBSTANCE: method involves, as reagent, CYANEX 272, whose active component is di(2,4,4- trimethylpentyl)phosphinic acid, nickel is recovered by extraction at pH > 5, in particular at 6 ≤ pH <10, extraction pH being controlled for no longer than 1.5 h, whereas precipitation of nickel from aqueous solution with reagent is performed at pH ≥ 10.
