FIELD: manufacture of knitted product. SUBSTANCE: method involves forming fabric by means of single-loop and double-loop combs, with combs being partially drawn in, combs offsets being oriented in opposite directions and both combs knitting similar weave - woolen cloth and satin-like cloth with open loops; laying threads on needles of one needle box; providing knitting by three-loop and four-loop combs on needles of first and second needle boxes; providing parallel laying by five-loop comb and six-loop comb of thread on needles of one needle box. Five-loop comb effects loop weaving by laying thread on the same needle and six-loop comb provides five-needle "charmeur" weaving, where thread is laid alternatively in one row on first needle and other row on fifth needle. Method allows increased bulk knitted fabric with high physicomechanical properties to be produced. Said fabric may be used as covering material. EFFECT: simplified method, wider range of employment and improved quality of bulk knitted fabric. 5 dwg
