FIELD: water cooling facilities. SUBSTANCE: water-cooling tower has housing, water catcher, air inlet and air outlet columns and main cooling manifolds with ejection nozzles spraying cooled water and ejecting air are located in upper and lower parts of housing. Housing accommodates also four air inlet columns with opening angle α is equal to 6°-15°. Axes of ejection nozzles are directed along bisector of opening angle of air inlet column. Housing accommodates vertical partition and preliminary cooling manifolds with tangential and/or ejection nozzles arranged at angle of 30°-80° to horizon, with their outlet holes pointed upwards which spray cooled water and set, together with vertical partition, direction, direction of waste air flow. Moreover, water- cooling tower has two upper partitions, 2.1-5.0 m long and two lower partitions, 2.1-3.0 m long. Each lower partition is provided with lip parallel to vertical axis of symmetry of water-cooling tower, and cooled water drain holes. Distance from lower point of upper partition to lower partition and to lip and from lip of lower partition to axis S of water-cooling tower is within 0.5 and 2.0 m. EFFECT: improved efficiency of circulating water cooling, reliability and convenience in operation and maneuverability, and increase of capacity of water-cooling tower by water from 100 to 5000 m/h. 1 dwg
